Slippers are one of the first things guests touch when they settle into a room, and the material makes all the difference. Choosing the right one means balancing comfort, durability, sustainability and the image of the property.

Plush terry is soft and familiar, ideal for spas and city hotels. Organic waffle cotton is lighter and breathable, well suited to warm climates. Natural woven materials such as jute and straw bring a resort, handcrafted feel, while biodegradable cork soles offer support and a lower environmental footprint.

Sole thickness also matters. An 8mm sole is light and economical, 10mm adds comfort for longer stays, and 12mm feels truly luxurious. Finish the pair with closed or open toes, a binding colour that matches the interior, and an embroidered monogram for a detail guests will notice.
